ABC See, Hear, Do

ABC See, Hear, Do is designed for children ages 2 to 8, with seven levels that grow with your child from early letter and sound awareness through a 3rd grade reading level.

ABC See, Hear, Do uses a multisensory, Science of Reading aligned approach that combines seeing, hearing, and doing. Children learn letter sounds and phonics through engaging visuals, movement, and repetition. The program also breaks learning to read down into simple, manageable steps so it doesn't feel overwhelming or frustrating. This helps make abstract reading skills concrete, memorable, and fun.

Choose the level based on your child's current reading skills rather than age alone. Level 1 is designed for children who are just beginning to learn letters and sounds, while Levels 2 to 7 progressively build phonemic awareness, phonics, decoding, fluency, and reading skills. If you're unsure where to begin, start with the lowest level that matches what your child already knows. It's better to start at a lower level than a higher level to build reading confidence from the beginning. For more information, check out our resource "Not Sure Where to Start?"

ABC See, Hear, Do can be used as a primary learn to read program or as a supplemental resource alongside another curriculum. The seven levels provide a systematic progression of phonics skills, while the activity guides and additional materials give families and educators flexible ways to practice and reinforce those skills. By the end of the program, children will have developed the foundational reading skills needed to read at approximately a third-grade level.
