Students begin by analyzing examples of AI voice narration across different contexts—explainer videos, audiobooks, customer service bots, and accessibility tools. They discuss what works, what feels off, and what the difference is between AI voices that feel human and those that don't.

From there, students craft short scripts designed for narration, making deliberate choices about word choice and rhythm that will affect how the AI reads the text aloud. They generate multiple versions of the same script with different voice settings, comparing the results and refining their approach.

The lesson also addresses the broader landscape of AI audio: how voice cloning technology works, where it's already being used in media and entertainment, and the ethical questions it raises around consent and authenticity.

Students leave with a completed AI narration project and a more sophisticated understanding of audio as a design medium.
