Career Planning
Career Planning guides students through an engaging, interactive process to help them explore future career and life options. This one-semester elective encourages students to think about who they are and where they want to go.
Students start by examining their own interests, strengths, achievements, and personality traits. The course introduces practical skills, such as understanding job market trends, preparing for interviews, and exploring training and education pathways.
By the end of the course, students can clearly describe their interests and strengths, research and compare different careers, understand the skills and education needed for fields they find appealing, and develop a basic entrepreneurial business plan.
