Career Planning – Credit Recovery is a flexible online course that guides students through an informative, interactive process to explore future career and life options. This one-semester elective helps students reflect on who they are and the paths they may want to pursue.
Students begin by examining their interests, strengths, achievements, and personality traits. Then, the course provides practical tools such as understanding job market trends, interview strategies, training requirements, and education pathways to help them connect potential careers to their personal goals.
By successfully completing this course, students gain the ability to describe their interests and lifestyle goals, research and evaluate a wide range of career options, identify the skills and education needed for careers that interest them, and develop a basic entrepreneurial business plan.
