8th Grade Physical Science
8th Grade Physical Science introduces students to key concepts in chemistry and physics, helping them understand the physical world.
The course covers matter, atoms, molecules, chemical reactions, motion, force, momentum, work and simple machines, energy, waves, electricity, light, and other fundamental principles of chemistry and physics.
Students study the structure of atoms, the elements and the Periodic Table, chemical reactions, forces including gravity, motion, acceleration, and mass, as well as energy topics such as light, heat, electricity, and magnetism.
