K12 AI Labs Unit Bundle

The Ethics, Safety, and Policy Unit Bundle gives students the foundation every AI curriculum needs before they ever open a tool. Across two carefully sequenced lessons, students build the ethical reasoning, critical awareness, and personal responsibility that will underpin everything they do in the modules that follow.

In Lesson 1, students work through real-world AI use scenarios, debate what counts as responsible behavior, and collaboratively draft a Class Responsible AI Use Agreement that governs their own learning. In Lesson 2, they go deeper—examining how bias enters AI systems, analyzing real biased outputs, and developing personal frameworks for engaging with AI tools critically and honestly.

Both lessons are ISTE-aligned, instructor-ready, and equipped with full discussion guides, student activities, and differentiation supports. They work as a standalone ethics mini-unit or as the launchpad for the full AI Labs course.

This is a digital lesson accessed via lesson PDF—no physical product will be shipped.

AI Labs is designed for middle and high school classrooms but is adaptable across grade levels. It fits naturally into computer science, media, elective, or STEM programs—and can be taught as a semester course, stretched to a full-year, or a flexible collection of standalone lessons with 10 Cumulative Project options with teacher materials and student pacing guide.
