6th Grade Math - Skills Recovery helps students review and strengthen their understanding of multiplication and division of fractions, including dividing fractions by fractions, with a focus on improving efficiency and fluency.

This course is designed to support learners who would benefit from remediation of general skills or strengthen skills in specific areas.

Students revisit the concepts of ratio and rate as an extension of whole number multiplication and division, preparing them for proportional relationships in 7th grade.

The course also reinforces connections among area, volume, and surface area, while reviewing foundational algebra skills through interpreting and using expressions and equations.
