Personal Fitness I
Personal Fitness I is a high school course where students learn and practice principles of fitness, wellness, and health to build lifelong healthy habits.
Using the textbook Fitness for Life, students explore topics such as the physiology of diet and exercise, biomechanics, and team dynamics. They apply their knowledge through daily fitness activities and assignments, including personalized exercise and diet plans, which help develop self-assessment skills.
Activities also show how physical fitness supports emotional and mental well-being, boosts self-esteem, and strengthens communication skills.
